Shotokan has spread to become the most widely practised style of Karate throughout the world

At the weekend we had our first grading of the year.

Congratulations to all of our students that successfully passed their examination under the watchful eye of Sensei Garry Harford 8th Dan.

A special congratulations goes to Sebastian who was awarded the Andy Kemery Memorial Trophy for being the most outstanding student!

We had 5 members representing England at the 1st UK Grand Slam of the year.

With Aman and Zain making their debuts. They performed well and gained valuable experience.

Special mention to Sensei Thomas who came 2nd in the Male Kumite 18-20 years.

We recently attended the City of Liverpool Youth Championships.

Great experience for our younger squad members with lots showing great character and determination in what was their first competitive outing.
