Yesterday we held our Annual Awards and Family Funday. Our members and their families are invited to a fun filled day of games, inflatables and a BBQ to celebrate the club’s success over the past 12 months.

In addition to this our team that competed in the Central Region Championships were presented with a special medal in recognition of the efforts in helping the club become best overall club for both Kata & Kumite for the 4th year in a row!

On Sunday we took a young team up to Sunderland to compete in the 13th Sunderland Karate Championships.

With some having an eye on and preparing for their black belt grading and there being younger Kumite categories it gave those that took advantage of the opportunity to experience this for the first time.
